This week was insane. I don't know if there is any other word for it so we'll just start there. It started out so good, we had divisions with the other elderes in our district. Because I had to do a baptismal interview in Yaguaron and the other Elder had to do one in our area. Divisions were super fun. I got to go hangout with a new Elder that just started his mission 2 weeks ago from Chile, so that was super fun. We had a great time literally talking to everyone we could see and even making plans with this one family we found. They are going to teach us how to make homemade empanadas. So we went to do the baptismal interview for a lady named Magdalena. Magdalena is amazing she has wanted to get baptized for a really long time now and makes some serious sacrifices to get to church. She Is also 79 years old and cannot hear anything short of yelling. Ohh and she barley speaks Spanish, she speaks Guaraní. So it was super interesting getting to her house and doing the interview st...

House Hunters Part II...

How's everyone doing, this week was really great full of cool experiences and fun times. To start off, our apartment kinda sucks. Hot water doesn't really work because you need sufficient pressure in order for the heater to kick on, and our pressure well let's just say that it's not there. Almost all of our outlets won't work and it mega leaks when there's rain. So we've been on the hunt for a new place. And we finally found one. It's a brand new building that just barely finished construction and the apartments are small but nice. So after some bargaining with the owner we settled on a price and within a week or 2 we will be moving in. Low key very excited. But aside from that we had a really great week. We met up with this girl named Jazmín who is from a part member family and wants to get baptized so we're in the middle of helping her, we put her on date which was super cool. And thankfully she lives near a super cool member that brings her to chu...

Crazy Week...

This week was insane but also a great one. First of all we had transfers so my comp left and my new companion Elder Pearce got here. And there is another Elder in my zone who is waiting for his new companion to get here but he comes in on Wednesday so for the past week we've been living the trío life, which is always fun.  Just like the rest of the world the gas prices are absolutely insane so naturally the people want to protest to drop the prices. Well briliant people of Paraguay think the best way to do that is to close all major highways. Anyone that owns a semi or dump truck drove up and blocked the highways. Still not sure how this is supposed to help drop gas prices but... that's Paraguay. So it's been a blast trying to cover my area as well as the area of temporary comp when we can't travel to and from the areas. But something super cool about this week is that we had 3 baptisms. One in Yaguaron the area of my temporary comp and two in my area. We were so stoked...

Drunk Member??

This week was one of my favorites so far. It started off with divisions. Elder Vazquez went to a city called Carapeguá and Elder Cantero who is serving there, came up here to Itá. We grinded trying to find people and it worked out. We found a couple new people to teach who have potential!! Plus the divisions ended with going to the laguna and finding some crocodiles and eating some good pizza, can't complain.  After that, Vazquez came back and we went to this neighborhood where we generally have more success. While eating lunch with a member she started telling us a story about this other member who often walks around super drunk or sometimes on drugs around the neighborhood. I don't know if it's actually true or just a rumor, but either way I don't really care because this guy that allegedly walks around super drunk, has been the most clutch member I've met. He's kinda super weird but because of him we have 5 people on date for baptism, so there is no complaini...
