Elder Easton Schofield-Paraguay Asuncion Mission

What's good everyone? This week was a solid one so here we go. At the start of the week we had transfers. So I took the red eye from that little city Paso Yobai back to Caaguazú. And by red eye I would love to say it was a plane, but no. It was just a really really crappy bus haha. But we got back all safe and sound and started helping the Elders that were leaving. For transfers, we have one area that is closing and then 2 more missionaries leaving the zone so we're only receiving 2 new guys. We still have the Bro Zone because we are the only zone in the whole mission with only Elders and no Sisters. Also just something I forgot last week I ate some horse meet at a members house. It wasn't that bad. Turns out beef is really expensive right now but horse is always economical.  This week we were just doing our thing and then one day we were at the church in order to do something and there was so an activity for the little kids there. So this week was cool we'll just get right into it.  On Monday after P day ended we went going to Oviedo and slept that night but then woke up Tuesday in order to do divisions out there and an area attack where we just have a ton of missionaries in the same area in order to get a whole bunch of new people to teach. It was super fun but I couldn't really get out and teach because there was some people returning from Asunción that I had to go get from the bus Terminal and then take some people to the bus terminal. But all in all it was still a super good time. Got to spend a lot of time with some missionaries that were don't get to see that often. We went to bed and woke up Wednesday.  Wednesday was my birthday but more importantly it was the day of the Virgin of Caacupé. Which is just a day dedicated to the Virgin Maria. But they believe that one day the Virgin Maria appeared in this town called Caacupé so for that reason they have this special day. And lemme tell ya they st...

This week was awesome no doubt. It all started out with a sweet P day were we got the whole zone together to play some football and then some real football. (Soccer and then real football). And it was probably one of the most fun days I've had. We ate some good food but more importantly, hung out together and had a really fun time.  After that we traveled back with some Elders to their area, called Villarica. And we did divisions with them. Elder Jimenez and Elder Pixton. Jimenez is from Chile and Pixton is from Utah. There was also 2 other elders there with us who were gonna do a district council with them and divisions as well. An Elder from Utah and one from Paraguay. It was gonna be a pretty good time. Butttt we got word really late that we had to be in Asunción for a leadership conference and the bus that we had to get was getting there wayyyy earlier than expected. So we had like half day divisions with them and then went to the bus station to find a bus to where we needed to...

This week was wild so we're just gonna get right into it. On Tuesday we had zone conference, and it was super cool. Definitely learned a lot from President and it was super fun to finally have all the Elders in the zone together for a day. We shared a little something about baptism and it went super well I think. It was definitely a great time with everyone there. After that we had a family home evening with our friend named Mica. She's super cool and we had it at a members house who are also super cool. We talked about the plan of salvation and man it was such a great experience to have this family be able to bear their testimonies about how they know that they can live together forever. Mica definitely enjoyed it and she is super excited to come to church with us on Sunday.  After that we did an area attack again with 8 missionaries.
