Hows it going? So Rosa got baptized this week and it was the best, we went to her house the day before her baptism to make sure that everything was in order. And the first thing she told us was that we made her buy a new towel and shower sandals. We said ¨what¨ and she goes, how do you expect me to get baptized and then dry myself off with an old towel that everybody is going to see. And she got herself some nice new sandals so that between the bathroom and the font she could walk in style. She told all of the members at her baptism that the missionaries made her buy a new towel. I love this lady. When she got baptized the water was kinda cold because the hot water heaters never work here. And while she was getting in the font she was talking super loudly saying Ï don’t know  what those missionaries were saying, this water is too cold¨ she goes " that elder Schofield told me it would be warm, this isn't even close to warm" we were all cracking up right be...

Hey, how's it going? This week passed by so quickly it's super weird to already be writing another email. But it was a super cool week with a lot of stuff going on. On Monday, we sent 3 Americans back to their homes, they finished their missions and then the majority of the latinos that were also going home were picked up by their parents in the office. It was kind of weird to see some of the homies go but it's all good I'll see them again someday. Then that night all of the missionaries that had transfers came in from far away so I went to pick them up from the bus terminal and get them all dinner and all ready to go the following day for their transfers. This same night we were looking over the flight plans for a sister that was going home to Bolivia, we noticed that she flies into Buenos Aires but then leaves Buenos Aires from a different airport. Which means that she would have to leave the one airport, grab a taxi or something and make h...

How's it going?? This week was pretty sweet not gonna lie. We have been getting everything prepped for transfers on Tuesday and helping out the missionaries that are ending the mission on Monday get all of their stuff ready. Right now all of them are in the office with us and its really weird to see some of my best friends go home. And know that I won't see them for a long time. Especially the latinos that are going home, I really hope to one day come back here and hangout with them again.  We are getting ready to receive 15 new missionaries as well, so it's been pretty cool getting everything worked out the way that we need to. This week we also had a mission council here in Asunción with like 40 missionaries. It's always a good time to see all the homies from around the mission as well as learn from President and Hermana Faundez.  But the most important thing that happened this week has to do with our friend Rosa. She´s this 70 year old gra...

La Gira...

T his week was crazy, we had the Gira or in other words the mission tour.  Last Sunday we finished the meetings in church, loaded up the van and started our drive over to Ciudad del Este. 5 hours later we got there, dropped President and the senior couples off at a hotel and went to go sleep the night in the apartment of some missionaries. The next morning we got to spend with the missionaries there in Ciudad del Este. It was super cool we went to the market which is like Time Square but Paraguayan style. I bought a military grade laser and some new proselyting shoes all for less than $15. It's a win for me.  After that the next morning we had zone conference with all the missionaries there. It was super cool, it's the same zone conference that I've heard 3 times before but it's pretty amazing because every time I listen I learn something new.  The zone conferences are super cool because all before and after we're running so fast to get everything in order and make ...
