I Don't Know What To Write Anymore...
This week was pretty cool to be honest.
We worked a bunch Monday through Wednesday here in our area finding new people, teaching a bunch of them and trying to find the way to help them move forward towards baptism. We've found some really cool people who want to progress which is awesome.
On Tuesday I had the chance to go to FSY here in Paraguay along with President Faundez. Which was one of the coolest things. President was called to teach a couple classes so he brought us along to help him out. We saw some return missionaries that are buddies of mine that were there as counselors. But the coolest thing was that I saw this girl named Araceli who over a year ago with my companion Elder Hall we found in San Ignacio. She comes from a tough family that doesn't give her much support but was a baptized member who just didn't really go to church. We helped her go to church and get back on that path and one of the first people Elder Hall and I saw at FSY was her. This girl that over a year ago we were able to help and there she was at FSY, doing something that will help her continue in the Church. It was incredible.
FSY was in a city called Itá which is actually one of my old areas so that was cool to drive down the roads and relive some experiences that I had there. It was also super cool because when we got there we peeked into the room where all of the youth were. I've never felt so much like a famous person but a couple of them saw us and threw their hands in the air saying "the missionaries are here!!!" And then once their class ended they kind of swarmed us talking about a bunch of stuff. It was pretty insane and really cool to see how the youth see missionaries. They were all super cool.
After that on Thursday we woke up early and headed off to Caaguazu which was another one of my old areas. So I got to go down some other known streets. But there we had zone conference with all of the missionaries and then continued onto Ciudad del Este that night. We got there and set up the tables and chairs and stuff. Spent the night with some buddies in their apartment and then early in the morning headed off the conference. It's always good to see people and friends after not seeing them for a while. A lot of people in Ciudad del Este are missionaries that were in my other zones or districts and I know them really well. So it was good to catch up with them as well as say goodbye because it would be the last time I see the majority of them. Which is super sad to be honest.
I love all the missionaries here and feel like I have a small connection with all of them. They really have come to be my family down here. So saying goodbye is really tough.
Love you guys
