One Year...
This week was one of the better ones no doubt.
It started out kinda slow. We went to Acahay a city kinda far away to have a district council there and we had a great time. Learned a lot and spent some time with the missionaries but on the way back we couldn't find a bus. We were waiting and waiting and after 3 hours it finally came. We had plans to do divisions with some other elders but because the bus came super late it kinda shot our plans. Plus we got a call from the office saying that we needed to go to another area in order to look for a new apartment for the elders there because their apartment right now is pretty sucky. So we we got to this city and went on the search. We found absolutely nothing we literally walked the entire town talked to every single person we saw and there is nothing to rent. So House Hunters Paraguay is pretty boring not gonna lie. We found one house but it's a massive house with a huge yard and we need more of a small place with low maintenance, but that doesn't seem to exist.
After that we had to go to Asunción for a conference. Which is always fun to see a lot of other missionaries plus learn some stuff from President. We had a good time and ate some really good food. We went to a restaurant and they served us real mashed potatoes which I haven't had in over a year which is absolutely ridiculous. But they were so good. After that we came on home and it was like Friday by that time. And because of all the stuff we had had to do it was like the first full day where we could work in our area. So we hit the grind which is always so nice. We met a bunch of new people and taught a lot of other people. We finished the day going to an inactive members house to see how they are. And they were in the middle of draining their pool but they didn't have a pump they were just doing it by hand with buckets. So we jumped in and started helping. Which was awesome because we really got to know this family and help them out. They invited us back the following night to eat some asado (BBQ basically). So we couldn't turn that down.
This same day I completed a year on my mission and there was no better way I could've spent it. Also this week was Elder Vazquez's birthday so we celebrated with the asado. We are having such a good time together. There is only one week left in this transfer but I feel like it has straight flown by. I guess when you're really having a good time time goes quick. Him and I get along really well and work really well together, I hope he stays here for the next transfer because we have a lot of people progressing and pretty soon could be baptized and it would be sweet to be able to do that with him.
I love this work and I'm having a great time doing it. I love Itá and the people here. I love all you guys and miss you too.

We gave this guy a Book of Mormon and he started reading it as soon as we walked away.

There are seven myths in Paraguay. This mural depicts one of them. People constantly call me by the boys names because I fit the description.
We hiked a hill. The view was awesome. Paraguay is super flat, so you could see forever.
