Normal Week...
This week was pretty normal. We didn't have any giant conferences or anything like that but we did have leadership council. Which is always a good time. We bring in all of the leaders from their zones here to Asuncion and talk about the mission and what we can do to help out the missionaries as well as work in a more efficient way.
So it's always good to see some buddies that are in further away zones and spend some time with them. As well as learn from President and Hermana Faundez about how we can improve and better help the missionaries that need our help.
I also got my Christmas/Birthday package from my family (love you guys so much) and they sent me some Christmas fairy lights so you already know I had to put those in the van. So picking up a bunch of missionaries late at night with the Christmas lights turned on was a great time and definitely puts me in the Christmas mood even though it's a 100+ degrees outside.
But these week we were able to go on divisions and I went with Elder Foti an elder from Argentina who's a good buddy of mine. It's great to be able to go out and do something you love like teach the Gospel and do it with people that you really get along with. It makes the whole difference, So I'm really grateful for my comp Elder Hall as well because everyday is a great time.
We've been working with a lot of people here in the area and a couple of them are really progressing and it's so cool to see. We have Paola who really wants to progress, she's just finding the way to balance her family as well as church, and now her younger sister who lives with her and is taking a good interest in everything. We also have a friend named Jose who is progressing really well but we works like crazy and every time he's so close to going to church and doing what he needs some work comes up. So it's tough to see these people get sooooo close but it seems like they can never take just the last step that they need to take.
I love you guys hope you have a great week,
Easton
