Fiesta de la Navidad...

How's it going everyone?

This week was really good. We had a bunch of missionaries in and out of the office. Between sick missionaries that were coming in from far away to other ones that had to stay in order to get to their hospital appointments on time. We have also been waiting for a missionary to come from the MTC but he had COVID so he couldn't come with his group. So finally 3 weeks later he got here. So we went at midnight and helped him get here safely. Which is always fun, the best part about what we do is seeing the new missionaries. Getting to know more people that are going to change the lives of people here in Paraguay.

And it also takes me back to when I was a new missionary getting here to the airport with not even the slightest idea of what these next 20 months would hold. It has been so much fun. I'm excited that I still have until February to stay and keep going.

We have progressed with some of our friends this week, we had a ward Christmas party and a good amount of our friends came as well as a bunch of other non members that are friends of friends. It was super cool to see the church so full. We generally have like 50 people in sacrament meeting but there was easily more than 100 people there for the party. The party was cool there was like some traditional dances and cultural stuff which is always cool because the US doesn't really have anything like that.

Other than that it was just a solid week, we found some maple syrup the other day so now our mornings are filled with pancakes and french toast. Anything that has syrup we've been making it.

I hope you guys are all doing great,
Love you

Some missionaries were wearing ball caps out proselyting. So President took some pictures of what was allowed and what wasn't  I'm practically a model now.
