Normal Week...

This week was super cool, we didn't have any big things to plan or conferences or anything. Just getting things ready for transfers. But it was super cool because we could finish the little work we had here and get out and teach.

We contacted a bunch this week and met a whole bunch of new people and some really cool ones as well who want to progress. We met these two teenagers in a park and started sharing with them and ended up giving them both books of mormon. We went back the following day and they said that they read and wanted to read more! It's always great to see people who genuinely are interested in the Gospel and want to learn more. These two teenagers said that they would come to church on Sunday as well so we're praying that they can!

We also had a funny experience. We were walking one day and saw this old lady sitting on her porch so we went to talk to her and she said that she only believes in the Bible and doesn't read any other books. She said that our beliefs are so different that it wouldn't even be worth our time to talk. So we asked her what her beliefs are and she said "Well, go to church on Sunday, Jesus is our savior, the bible is the word of God" and we said well hey we believe all of that as well. She started talking about some things and it reminded me of a scripture in the Book of Mormon so I took it out and asked her if I could read a little. After I read she said proudly AMEN and asked what part of the bible it was from. I told her it was from the Book Of Mormon and asked if she would like to read more. She said Nope, but I asked if I could read a couple more verses. And read some verses that link the Book of Mormon and the bible and she loved them. After talking and explaining more we gifted her the Book of Mormon and she said that she would read it. It was a super cool lesson but then she started rambling on about famous musicians and how they all sell their soul to the devil to be so famous. I hope she just remembers to read.

Another day we went to have a lesson with a lady that is on date for baptism. We had a cool lesson but at the end she told us that really wants to continue with us but her husband said "you were born Catholic and will stay that way." So we're still working with her still and trying to find a way to help her husband realize it as well. Pray for Daniella.

But it was a great week overall, hope you all are doing well
Love you

Random truck in the middle of nowhere

I saw this guy with a Lake Tahoe shirt on and had to get a picture with him. He didn't know what it said and got it at a thrift store.
