Mia...
This week was pretty wild a roller-coaster for sure. To start off we had like 4 ladies that we were teaching progressing this week and they were like really progressing. Then one by one we got a text saying that their husbands don't want them talking to us more or reading the Book of Mormon or anything like that. But hey it's good the Lord has a plan. We also talked to a bunch of people this week and found some really cool people.
We also live right above a pharmacy and we're best friends with the employees there. They're even ordering shirts for us so that we can sport them on p days. They even registered me as a member there. We love farmatotal.
We had a conference up in Asunción which was pretty sweet. Got to see a lot of the homies again that I haven't seen in a while. And it was kinda messing with my comp and I because we started the mission together in the same MTC district and at this conference we saw most of the sisters from our MTC district but they are getting ready to go home in 3 weeks so this conference was the last time that we'll get to see them in the mission which kinda blew our minds. But pretty crazy that we're already this far into the mission.
But most importantly this week we started a trend. So in Paraguay there are little stores attached to every house and people sell things like soda, milk, bread, fruit and so on. So they have ads for what they sell. Well one of these ads has a girl on it named Mia, Mia went to the same high school as my buddy Elder Dutson. I guess she became like a model or something but her face is literally all over Paraguay, so naturally we had to gift our buddy Dutson a poster. So we went asking every little store that had one of these ads If we could have it and gift it to someone. Needless to say they don't really care because they don't even pay to have the ads put up. So we got a poster, then we thought, can we get another? So we got another one. And we started to think, how many can we get? So right now we have 4 but we're on the hunt for more. And now our zone as well is looking and snagging posters when possible. I love the mission.
We also had interviews with President this week which are always good. We got to hangout with him for a little while we drove around the zone doing interviews. And he paid for our lunch so that's a bonus.
But this week was good definitely learned that this is the work of the Lord and of nobody else. All we need to do is get out of His way so that He can do His work through us.
I love the mish and love you guys.
