Las Lomitas...

This week has been one of the fastest weeks of my mission but that's probably because of all the things that we did.

On Tuesday I had to go up to the office for transfers, I got transferred to a place called Las Lomitas that is near a city called Ñemby. This is a suburb of Asunción so I guess I finally had to get an area semi close to Asunción and here we are. But I'm loving it to be honest.
It's a place that's a pretty big city. There's a bunch of cars and busses and stuff like that but once you get a little off of the main roads you really don't notice it.

But this place is super cool all of the members are down to help, down to go out and visit the people with us. We had a member with us just about every day, visiting the people that we're teaching and it's low key the best thing. Our amigos feel more comfortable and open up more when there's someone from their own country there helping them. We went around finding a whole bunch of new people to teach as well as helping people that they were already teaching progress. We ended the week with 8 people on date for baptism so we're super hyped about that. And half of them came to church yesterday so we still got some more work to do but we're stoked to do it.

This area is so packed with people and things to do that every night we get home at 9:30 on the dot. And then have to do some calls or text a bunch of people. We're grinding but I've never felt better. We honestly are having great time, loving the work, loving what we're doing out here. We have a pretty cool zone as well full of missionaries that I've already met and it'll be sweet to get to know some of them more.

It's been pretty chilly lately and it's the best because I haven't felt cold in a long time. Plus all the members want to give us cocido or hot chocolate which is always a win. But the funny thing is  that they always have some bread that goes along with is and it's like a ring of bread. But it's the worst bread in the world its basically like eating Styrofoam but the hot chocolate wouldn't be the same without it.

Anyway it's been a great week. I love what we got going here, it's a sweet area with dope members and a dope companion as well. I love all you guys hope you're doing well.

Every day at 4:00 we take a stupid picture and sent it to the zone just for fun.

A little leadership conference we did with the district leader and the sister leaders

We went bowling as a huge group after a mission wide conference.  This sister is awesome and she goes home to Canada, after next transfer.
