Haso Being Sick...

So this week kinda got wrecked but it's all good, I got really sick last Monday and it just carried on through the week. Still have a slight head cold but we're doing good. Also a little translation from the title Haso is a Guarani word that literally translate to "full of worms." It's probably my favorite guarani word. People use it all the time to mean that something sucks. So being sick sucks.


But still had some great times like always in the mish. We went up to Asuncion twice this week because we had a conference up there one day which was super sweet as always to hear from President. Definitely very excited to get to work this month and see the miracles that the Lord is going to work through us. So then we came home and after that we had to go back to Asuncion a day later in order for my comp to go get an MRI because his knee has been bothering him for a while. And the doc thinks it's his meniscus so to be sure the MRI is necessary. My comp was bummed out because he didn't really want to waste a day of working in order to do it but it had to he done. I was low key kinda hyped because I've never seen an MRI before and have always wanted to. But we got to the hospital had to go through a whole bunch of really stupid hospital bureaucracy but finally got to where we needed to be just for the nurse dude to tell me that I can't watch. Not even from behind the window. So that was a massive bummer but it is what it is. 

But this week we did a whole bunch of work on the phone because I was dying from being sick and my comp needed to rest his leg so we did everything you could think of, when it comes from working on the phone. But we had a super cool experience yesterday during the fast and testimony meeting. One of our converts this 11 year old girl got up to give her testimony and it was the sweetest thing ever. She was a little nervous but got up there and said everything that she knew to be true, sweetest testimony I've ever heard. My comp and I were super happy because she's one of the most faithful people ever. Her dad is an inactive member that doesn't ever come. But she makes him drive her to church and pick her up even though he doesn't stay. Basically she's just the goat. 

Also we just got transfers this week and I'm super stoked my new comp is ELDER DUTSON my buddy from the MTC which is super dope. He has the same watch as me so it should be a great transfer. I'll be in an area called Las Lomitas in a city called Ñemby.

What’s up!! This week was amazing, we were able to get some real work done. We had a couple of lessons where we could bring some members along. We found some other inactive members who we are helping come back to church and along with that baptize their kids. I’m super thankful for the members here in the ward, they are awesome and always able to help us when we need it.     One day we met a lady and invited her to church, but she told us she didn't want to go because she didn’t have any friends in the church. How's it going everyone?? This week went by ridiculously fast so here's some stuff that happened. On Monday we were able to change our P-day to Monday because we had divisions with other elders on Saturday. But it was super fun we had P-day with the whole zone. We played Paddle for like 3 hours, went to eat lunch all together in a mall and then came back to the church were we played chair soccer for another 3 hours. It was sweet to be have P-day all together and hangout with a bunch of missionaries.  On Tuesday we went out and worked and found some cool people that said that they really wanted to go to church with us. So we sat down and taught some good lessons. We taught the restoration and why it's so important. I honestly really love teaching especially when the people are interested. Snakes, Dogs, and Red Dirt

How's it going everyone. Day one I was warned about the snakes, these snakes are much more dangerous than the snakes you are thinking about right now. These snakes are teenage girls that give you the "look" everywhere you go. It's super funny we will be walking on the street and all of the sudden three girls will run up and talk with us as we walk for miles. It's hilarious, I love it.  A couple weird things that happened this week: a couple of drunk people interrupted our lessons which is sweet. I tried deep fried cow stomach, which honestly tasted and felt like a deep fried booger (sorry that's the only way I know how to describe it). Women breastfeed in the middle of lessons so that's something. I waited for a bus for 3.5 hours because the bus system here is wack. I ate like a pumpkin porridge thing which was pretty good.
