Old Times...
This week was really cool so we'll just jump right in.
First off on Tuesday I went on divisions with Elder Delgado who's a missionary from Chile serving here in the zone and he's super cool. This is only his second transfer of his mission but he's already a super great missionary. So it was a great time going around with him for the day helping the people of Itá. It finally got somewhat cold this week so we found a lot of members that gave us cocido which is like our equivalent to hot chocolate, but it's made from Yerba and they put milk and sugar in it. All I know is it's super good and when it's cold everyone is making it.
Also, we started a new tradition as a zone, there's this song out there called bring sally up and basically it just says bring sally up and bring sally down, so what we do is every morning we do a video call with our zone and do a 3 minute workout all together doing push-ups and whenever the song says up we go up and whenever it says down we go down. Low key super fun, but on Sundays we don't workout so instead we do Yoga as a zone in the morning.
On Wednesday my comp and I went out and taught a whole bunch of people. We contacted this hair salon and started talking to the people that work there, they invited us in and we sat down and started sharing. While this was happening one of the girls there tried to take secretive picture of us but we knew she was taking the picture and were pretty sure she posted it or sent it to a bunch of people. Because like 5 minutes later 8 more girls showed up and started talking to us. So we ended up teaching all of them and dipped out of there. Don't know if they're interested at all but was super funny.
But then on Thursday it was super cool I got to go on divisions with my old comp Elder Vazquez. Which was super cool because we were here together like 3 months ago and then we got to get back together for a day. We went and taught a bunch of people and visited some people that we found during our time together. Great time being with him again all the old jokes and ways we did things came back out and it was really just like old times which is always a good time.
After that we went on down to Yaguarón where someone was getting baptized, and helped them with their baptism, always a spiritual time. But we also hatched one of our best ideas as a companionship this day. When we got home that night we drew a massive tree on our wall with chalk and were gonna basically start the family tree of zona 5. To where my comp and I are In the middle and then all the other missionaries have a picture of themselves within the tree. The goal is down the line this tree will be filled with a bunch of missionaries and they can all look back at who was in the zone before. It's gonna be sweet.
Also a little bit of sad news, one of our friends we were teaching about a month ago had a stroke and went to the hospital. He recovered and was going to come home Thursday but ended up having another stroke and passed away that night. So if you could all pray for the Schmidt family that would be greatly appreciated. Because also during the time that he was in the hospital his wife was pregnant and delivered the baby. So there's a brand new baby in this family a long with 2 other kids.
This week was great, I love the mission and everything that it encompasses. Love you guys.

Crazy sunset
These girls walked passed us and asked if they could take a picture with us. We didn't know what to do when they started touching us hahaha
We went to celebrate this Elders birthday in the middle of the night to surprise him.
