Cake Wars...

This week was super cool lots of stuff happening.

To start off it was the birthday of one of the elders here in the zone so we bought him a cake for p day and naturally it got smashed in his face. Then my comp and I were talking, saying that it would be funny to start a cake war. At the most random times just caking one of the other missionaries in the face during the week. It was all kind of a joke, but more on that later.

This week we found a lot of new people, we are in the process of helping them all get motivation to come to church and to want to change but with a lot of them it's been quite a ride. However we found this guy named Alfredo, Alfredo is a super interesting dude let's just say he's been down a couple tricky roads during his life getting caught up with gangs and stuff that took him to Spain, where he went down a couple more tricky roads but got back to Paraguay and then we found him. The first time we met with him in his house there was broken glass and all this broken stuff on the ground but he was chillin. He told us that someone from his old life came in and robbed all of his stuff and between that and breaking stuff himself that's why there's a bunch of broken crap on the ground. But he told us that he wants to change and he never wants to go back to the way he was living life. He said he can tell that we are at peace with ourselves and the situations that we're in and wants to know how. We shared about the atonement and the process of repentance and  baptism, and he loved ever second of it. He's reading the Book of Mormón a bunch and wants to get baptized!! It's pretty amazing the change the gospel has in the lives of the people that it touches. He also showed up to church yesterday so that was awesome.

This week we also had zone conference and because of that we had to travel really early in the morning the get to Asunción, so all of the zone came to our area to sleep the night. So that we could all leave together in the morning without an issue. And because the whole zone was together we had to take advantage and got some pizza all together. While we were eating 2 of the hermanas said they had to go get something from the store right across the street and left for a minute. They sent a text to the other hermanas saying to start recording but to do it secretly. We over saw the text and knew exactly what was gonna happen, so we ran into a different store close by and bought a cake as well, after tricking the hermanas into thinking we were somewhere where we weren't we ended up caking them instead of them caking us. It was absolutely hilarious and thus starts the cake war that the whole zone is in. At any time at any place it's possible to get cake in the face.

But the next morning we went up to zone conference and it was great we saw a bunch of missionaries that we haven't seen in a while which is always a good time. And learned a bunch from President and the people that shared, definitely a good time, plus the food was super good.

The next day we had interviews with President which were great as always one of the best interviews I've ever had. Took advantage of being able to ask whatever I wanted to President and he gave me some answers that were 100% inspired. Then we all jumped in the Presidents car, all 12 of us to go to lunch. Had a great time eating together and talking to Hermana Faundez who is hilarious.

My comp and I also got a great idea this week to build a sauna in our shower. It's been kinda chilly the past few days and there's nothing better than relaxing in a sauna at the end of the day. So we bought some garbage bags and some tape, and whipped up a sauna. Works great not gonna lie and with a couple drops of essential oils that my comp has I close my eyes and I'm taken to a spa. But open my eyes and realize that I'm just chillin in a bathroom In Paraguay surrounded by a garbage bag tent. All I'm saying is it's the little things in life that makes for a good time.

This week was great filled with fun experiences as well as very spiritual ones. And that's honestly all I could ask for in life.

I love you guys hope you have a great week.
