Semana Santa...

This week was pretty sweet. We started off by doing an ataque de área which means an attack in an area. Where we go as a whole bunch of missionaries to one área in order to find a whole bunch of people and help an area that needs a little more. So that's what we did we went as a whole zone and worked for half a day. We found a whole bunch of new people as well as taught a bunch of people that were already being taught. It was super sweet not gonna lie to be in one city with a whole bunch if missionaries. We also did divisions so I went with someone named Elder Montero a Chilean who's honestly a super funny dude we had a great time laughed a bunch and found some really great people who are going to progress without a doubt.

After that we grinded in our area and found again some other really cool people who are progressing. One of our buddies named Pedro who is super cool got baptized this week, he's amazing honestly comes from nothing and was super emotional to be in sacrament meeting with us because he said that now he has a bunch of friends because before he really didn't have much. It's pretty impressive to see the change getting baptized can have on your life. But he's a great guy and is 100% going to continue strong in the church.

This week was also the semana santa or holy week because of Easter but they celebrate for an entire week down here. Which I honestly find really funny because on a week where everyone says that they are remembering Jesus and celebrating him, people actually accepted us less than normal. So super weird to be honest, we tried contacting people using the semana santa as a way to get In the door but they were just as happy to say no haha. They also have a whole bunch of traditions during this week for example everyone makes this traditional bread kinda thing called chipa and then they eat it as a family and give away their extra to strangers. So we were loaded up with chipa, some of it tasted like straight chalk but others were really good so I can't complain.

We were eating dinner this week at our favorite place called Nappos pizza this guy is a real Italian born and raised but moved to Paraguay to marry his wife and start his life. But now he makes probably the best pizza in all of Paraguay. And were there eating and talking to Nappo himself because he's now one of our good buddies. And we asked him if he could teach us how to make pizza and he said yes sooooo yeah. I also burned my mouth of some cheesy pizza and it has never hurt so bad but 100% worth the pain because it's so good.

Also this week we had a super interesting member lunch, we walked in sat down and the Hermana told us to dish our plates and like a normal Paraguayan lady if you don't dish a huge mountain of food she would get upset so I mounded the food up good. I was hyped because it looked like some rice with mileneases which is usually a super good meal. But as I cut into it, it didn't look to much like chicken. I thought it was like chicken with cheese because the texture was a little interesting but then I understood. It was mondongo or in other words stomach and it's just like slimy, stringy, but at the same time rubbery. So it was super fun getting that mountain of food down. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good either haha. So I think I'm good with the amount of stomach that is in my stomach.

I'm sure other stuff happened this week but I honestly can't remember haha. I hope you all have a great week.

Love you all
