I Miss Donuts...

This week was a cool/ crazy one. Last Monday was transfers so I was running around all day taking missionaries to the bus terminal, or from the bus terminal to their new areas. Just a lot of back and forth and making sure that everyone was where they needed to be, which was super cool to be honest. After that I got my comp for the majority of the week Elder Blanco. I was with him because my real comp was coming from the office, and had to train an Elder how to do all the stuff there, before coming out here.

So I was with Elder Blanco and Elder Baldwin for the majority of the week. Which was cool because they are really cool guys. Being in a trío is always a good time. It's just a lot of fun. Plus we got some work done in the area we contacted like crazy and found a lot of new people to teach.

We found a couple really cool people. For example this girl named Micaela, she's a couple years older than me but she just barely moved to Caaguazú not too long ago and said that she really doesn't have any friends at the moment. Which was really sad to hear. So we told her that we are always here for her, and then later that night she said she was super grateful for us. And wants to know why we are so nice. We explained to her the love of Christ and how we try our hardest to emulate that.

She ended up buying us bollos which are like Paraguay's version of a donut. They're really nothing alike but they are used in the same settings and at similar events to donuts.... so Paraguayan donuts. But she bought us some of those which was awesome. And then we found out that her birthday is this Monday so we are definitely going to buy like a cake or something for her. We taught her this cool lesson too. We asked her if she could ask God any question what would it be, she told us it was a private question and she didn't want to tell us what it was. We said that's OK we don't have to know the question but we are 100% confident we can get you the answer. She looked at us really funny and said it's impossible if you don't know my question how can you answer it. And we said that we weren't going to answer it we are just going to help her find the answer. She was very interested and asked how. We then told her about the Book of Mormon and how it can answer every single question there is. She then said that without a doubt she's gonna read this book.

And she's reading it so that's sweet.

One day it was literally the best weather ever because it's been stupid hot lately. But one of these days was literally perfect, it was overcast and raining/ sprinkling all day long. So it was slightly colder which was awesome. But all of our plans fell through and we were walking down this road contacting people, and we found this volleyball court that had this cool view. So we asked some people if they could take a picture of us, after that they asked us if we wanted to play volleyball with them. We told them of course we do. So we played volleyball. In the middle of playing, the rain absolutely started down pouring but we didn't care. The court quickly turned from semi mud to straight deep thick mud. By the end of the game we were filthy. Covered in mud, and soaking wet... One of the best days.

After that Elder Yañez got here and it was awesome he's a super cool guy from Talca Chile and a super hard worker as well. I'm super excited about this transfer to better my Spanish as well as work super hard and have a great time.

We taught an English class this week and we all put this add on our Facebook stories and it was awesome. We had 5 non-members show up which was sweet. A couple of them are really cool and we are definitely going to pass by their houses.

Oh yeah, we also went to a wedding of this guy that was a missionary here.  He ended his mission 3 months ago and was the companion of one of the elders that just came into the zone so of course we had to go, plus this lady is crazy and probably would've hated us if we didn't come but it is what it is haha.

We were working one day and we didn't think it was going to rain but there it comes. Good Ole Paraguay. Starts down pouring but I literally don't even care at all I love the rain so much. It doesn't matter if I'm walking around 100% soaking wet it's one of the best days for sure when it rains and you can walk in it. All the Paraguayans are convinced I'm gonna die because I'm walking around in wet clothes. But what more can I say it's the literal best.

Hey I love all of you guys, write me if you want.
