Lucas baptized Moises...

This week started off really good it's the last week of the transfer but we get transfer news tonight so next week I'll let you all know.

But we got on the grind again this week and it was sweet. Found a whole bunch of new people to teach and got rejected probably three times as much but it's all good because the majority of the time when people reject us they do it in the most awkward and ridiculous way that it just makes us laugh.

Our shower has been acting weird lately but after we looked at it we realized we just needed a new part and we would be good to go. It was a simple fix but we while we were walking around we asked the places that sell the shower heads and they wouldn't sell us just the new part we needed they wanted to sell us an entire new shower head. They didn't have individual parts. So after talking to like 4 different places we found our guy. I explained to him what we needed and he goes "give me 3 minutes" hopes on his motorcycle and 3 minutes later comes back with a shower head. We took it apart and got the part that we needed and 15 mil (2 dollars) later were on our way. The shower head was still wet and you could tell that he just went home and took off his own shower head to just to sell it to us. We were laughing all day about it.

After that we also did divisions this week I went with an Elder named Elder Aquino. A Paraguayan dude who's pretty funny. We had a good time taught a lot of people and walked a lot most of the lessons we teach are standing up because we clap at the gate and then teach them the lesson right there at the gate so at the end of the day he was feeling it in his legs haha. But we had a great time taught some good people and talked alot about the mission and our goals that we want to achieve.

We also had the baptism of our buddy Moisés which was probably one of the coolest experiences of my mission. We were in a neighborhood a month ago contacting all the people we could see and getting rejected by literally everyone but we just kept on going and after 30 people telling us know we ran into this 16 year old kid who let us talk to him for 2 minutes. But in those 2 minutes we knew he was different. A couple days later we went back and taught him the restoration. And then we went by with some members his age and continued teaching. We set up a family home evening and invited him to that. And 1 month to the day Moisés got baptized. And to make the experience even better. Our friend Lucas who got baptized 3 weeks ago was able to baptize Moisés. To watch Lucas say the words and use the Priesthood was pretty crazy me and my comp aren't criers but we were tearing up.

After that on Sunday Moisés was confirmed a member and Lucas blessed the sacrament for the first time. Soon enough it will be Lucas and Moisés blessing the sacrament. It's always pretty amazing to see the changes in the lives of the people that enter into the gospel.

Also, I found my new favorite scripture this week in Alma 58:37 basically Helaman is complaining a little bit for not having sufficient men to fight the war. But then he says "más he aquí, no importa" I like it better in Spanish because it's a little stronger but it basically says "but behold, it doesn't matter" There are no excuses and no reason to complain when God is on your side so stop complaining.

I love you guys
