Knife Boy...

How we doing everyone, this week was great but absolutely flew on by.

On Tuesday I went on divisions with Elder Montero a Chileno and it was super sweet. So I got to be in a city called Carapeguá which honestly is a really cool place other than the fact that every 30 feet there's a different smell. And most of the smells are rotten cheese. Other than that we had a great time. We actually ended up finding this girl who the elders before hand were teaching but then she went to the States to work but she just barely came back. Funny enough she was living In Park City working at a restaurant there. But she just recently came home to be able to spend time with family. While teaching her she asked how we can leave our families for so long without seeing them. It was one of the coolest things because I have recently been thinking about that, the true reason why I'm out here. So I was able to share that with her and it was a really spiritual experience, she said that she would definitely start reading the Book of Mormón asap because she can tell that it really has changed our lives.

After that we back home on Wednesday and went out teaching and contacting. We found this one lady named Marí who was super nice to us so we asked if we could sit down and share something with her. She said yes but she needs to ask her son first. We thought ok but what kind of mom needs to her son permission kinda weird but then again we're in Paraguay. So she goes inside and then comes back out and says that Matias her son wants to talk with us. Alright so all of the sudden this dude emerges from the door, super skinny super long black hair and comes up to the gate. He asks us our names and we tell him and then we ask him his name and he says Matias. While saying his name he took his hands out of his pocket and was holding a pretty big knife and he goes "I'm Matias and I control everything here" so that was cool but we kept on talking to him. And he said that e could keep on passing by without an issue. So we got knife boy's approval.

After that on Thursday we had to go do some baptismal interviews in Yaguarón. Which was sweet. It's always so cool to see that the people about to get baptized are always working, happy and ready to do it. But we were a little late and there wasn't a bus back so we decided to walk. Like 10 minutes into the walk someone pulled over and took us to where we needed to go, he was a great guy had some good conversations. There is power in the thumb just pop that bad boy out there and people will pull over.

After that on Friday was a normal day of work, it was raining which is always a good time but low key kills the work. But we ended up finding this family of 8 people and teaching them, it was pretty sweet. They were all into it and having a good time, asking questions and everything. Even with the rain the work of the Lord doesn't stop.

Saturday was super cool we had 5 baptisms in the zone. So we went to the first 2 in Paraguarí which was these 2 young girls and it was super sweet. After that we went to Yaguaron where the other baptisms were at. Helped them prep for everything and then got to watch more baptisms so it was definitely a great day. But after that it was late again and there wasn't any busses again so we decided to walk. But there is power in the thumb and this truck pulled over. He wanted to give us a ride but it was pretty clear that the dude was drunk. When I asked him if he was drunk he kinda got mad at me and told me that he wasn't. So I asked him why there was an open bottle in the cup holder and he got mad at me and said that I just invaded his privacy by looking at the cup holders haha. Needless to say we did not get in his car. So we kept on walking still having faith in the thumb and this massive semi pulled over and told us to hop in. So we did  it was sweet I had no idea how massive semi's are on the inside but it was pretty fun plus the driver was a good guy that wasn't drunk, always a bonus.

This week was fantastic full of spiritual experiences and fun times. I hope you all are having a great life, love you
